A geologist and mineral economist with over 40 years experience in all aspects of the Queensland coal industry in government service and private industry in the Bowen and Galilee Basins.

Has held various staff and executive positions with Utah Development Coy, Gold Fields, Mount Isa Mines and South Blackwater Coal involving exploration, evaluation, purchase, funding, development, operation and sale of coal prospects, mines and infrastructure.

Most recently a founding director of Burton Coal Pty Ltd, and currently a director of Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Pty Ltd.
